We are specialized in the conception of :

In Provence and Côte d'Azur. Indeed the Mediterranean climate is very different from other regions and thus must be approached in a specific way.

The issue of summer comfort is predominant and must therefore be treated specifically. Like including a solar control, a suitable insulation, working on the inertia of the building and the implementation of natural adapted ventilation flows.
Also the life for indoor and outdoor areas is not organized in the same way in Provence and Côte d'Azur, as in other regions.

Bioclimatic building

Finally the special Mediterranean climate can and should be used to serve the building in order to virtually eliminate the need for heating in winter.

Example of results obtained by a thermodynamic simulation of a villa of 300 m² GFA located in the Maritime Alps (South of France) :

Thus it is evident that free solar inputs (40kWh/m².year) are such that the need for supplementary heating is extremely low (5kWh/m².year).
NB: the internal inputs correspond to the energy provided by: lighting, appliances and people living in the house.
