Clay blocks for monolithic walls & autoclave cellular Concrete (ACC), or autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC)

They are used as cinderblocks but have the great advantage of being simultaneously an effective insulator. They also make little slits in the material to pass the necessary networks (water and electricity), which eliminates the need to create supplementary technical space.
The installation solutions like thin joints require a special attention; in particular clay blocks for monolithic walls.

These materials allow thermally efficient constructions if they are properly installed.
Moreover for very high energy performance (energy-plus or low-energy buildings), it will be necessary to back-up the clay-block with another insulator.
