Comments :
This hotel project has been driven by one goal: to go as far as possible in the direction of sustainable development while preserving the economic balance of the project.
(Since its inception) the pursued and achieved purpose was to integrate into the site the planned surfaces by limiting at least the modifications of the ground and its natural inclination.
In spite of the strong topographic constraints of the ground, altimeter wedging allows a clearing / embankments assessment virtually zero and an exceptional landscaped integration.
This integration has also allowed us to use the constraints of the site to the service of the bioclimatic approach. The important interweaving of the building in the ground helps keep the rooms cool in summer. The set up of the rigorous solar control, the green roof and the ventilation flow complete this effect to allow an optimal summer comfort. Also the particular care dedicated to the benefits of natural light and to the acoustic atmosphere contributes to the natural comfort of the hotel which will clearly be perceived by the user.
The characteristics of the building envelope (insulation, sealing of the air, performance of the joinery and glazings) combined with a mechanical ventilation with a high-performance heat exchanger allow very low energy need for heating. |
