FAQ - Ventilation of the building

Natural ventilation by thermal draft

Natural ventilation requires no mechanical device to work. The airflow is driven by the draft due to temperature differences between inside and outside, and the wind pressure on the building envelope in particular at the outlet of the roof vents (chimney effect). Each utility room of the building has an air outlet connected to a vent working by natural draft. It is possible to add a fan to control the streams when conditions prevent a sufficient extraction (i.e. heat wave during summer).
Furthermore the main rooms are equipped with an adjustable air inlet for new air.
